Soundscape cutting through Brighton’s Pavilion Gardens on October 29th 2013. Starting at the Grand Parade Entrance, a small boy is reminded that there are rules in parks, mainly that you mustn’t sleep. We follow someone through the park stopping for a long while to enjoy the beautiful music of the African Kalimba player in the centre four crossing paths. Toddlers squeal and we drift into a reverie to be woken shortly after by the dragging of a stick over railings. We pass briefly in front of the pavilion with it’s tourists before leaving again by the entrance to the main road. Remixed from recordings made in Pavilion Gardens, Brighton on the 29th October 2013 as part of MA Digital Media Arts soundscape workshop with Joseph Young
